How to Share your Game Library on Steam Deck (Family Sharing Options)
1To share your game library on your Steam Deck using Steam's Family Sharing feature, follow these steps:
1. Enable Family Sharing on Your Steam Deck:
Press the Steam button to open the main menu.
Scroll down and select Settings.
Go to the Family tab.
Check the box that says "Authorize Library Sharing on this Computer."
2. Log in to Your Friend’s Steam Account:
After enabling Family Sharing, log out of your Steam account.
Log in to your friend's Steam account on your Steam Deck.
3. Authorize Your Friend’s Account:
Return to the Settings menu under the Family tab.
You should now see your friend’s account listed. Check the box next to their username to authorize library sharing for them.
4. Access Shared Games:
Once authorized, your friend can log back into their Steam account on their device or your Steam Deck.
They should now see your shared library under their Library tab.
5. Manage or Revoke Sharing:
If you need to manage or revoke access to your shared library, you can do this by returning to the Family settings and unchecking the authorization for your friend’s account.
