How to Share your Game Library with Friends on Steam Deck (Family Sharing)
2You can share your game library with friends on your Steam Deck using Steam's Family Sharing feature. This allows them to access and play your games on their accounts. Here’s how to set it up:
1. Enable Family Sharing on Your Steam Deck:
Switch to Desktop Mode:
Press the Steam button to open the main menu, go to Power, and select Switch to Desktop.
Open Steam in Desktop Mode:
Once in Desktop Mode, open the Steam application from the desktop or application menu.
Log In and Go to Settings:
Log in to your Steam account.
In Steam, click on Steam in the top-left corner, and then select Settings.
2. Authorize Your Friend's Device:
Go to Family Settings:
In the Settings menu, select Family.
Check the box that says "Authorize Library Sharing on this Computer."
You’ll see a list of eligible accounts on this device. Make sure your friend’s account is listed, and then check the box next to their username.
3. Log In on Your Friend's Account:

Log out of your Steam account and let your friend log into their Steam account on your Steam Deck.
Enable Library Sharing:
When your friend logs in, they should see your shared library in their account under the Library section. They can now download and play the games you’ve shared.
4. Switch Back to Gaming Mode:
Once the setup is complete, switch back to Gaming Mode by selecting the Return to Gaming Mode icon on the desktop.
5. Manage and Revoke Access (If Needed):
To revoke access or manage shared libraries, return to Steam Settings -Family and uncheck the authorization for your friend’s account.
