How to Steal the Blaster Part from Crimson Dawn in Star Wars Outlaws - New Tricks Quest
Welcome back to another video guide on how to steal the Blaster Part from Crimson Dawn in Star Wars Outlaws.
After chatting with Danka at Manka's Gambling Parlor, you'll be sent on a mission called New Tricks.
Danka mentions that Kay needs a blaster upgrade. To get it, you'll need to visit a nearby pawn shop owned by Belo. So, exit the gambling parlor, open your map, and let's head to the pawn shop together. Once you there, Just talk to him, select the “purchase” option, choose the ION Casing Icon which is the first item in the middle row, and hold down the “A” button on your controller to buy it.
Next, you'll need Ion energy converters, but Belo doesn't sell them because they’re illegal. Once you're outside the pawn shop, Waka will explain that you have to choose between stealing from the Pikes or Crimson Dawn. I'll show you how to steal the blaster part from Crimson Dawn without getting caught.
To reach the Crimson Dawn District, just follow me. The faction trusts you enough at this point, so getting there will be a breeze.
When you see the two guards, just walk past them. They won’t stop you since you’re part of the Crimson Dawn faction. Keep moving, and avoid stealing anything along the way to stay under the radar. While running through the corridors, Waka will mention that you need to locate a safehouse—that’s where you'll find what you need.
As soon as you exit the corridor, you’ll spot a guard on your right. Ignore him and keep moving forward. Go down the stairs, pass by the two guards on your left, and keep following me.
Now, when you step onto the launch pad, a restricted area warning will pop up. Press “B” on your controller to crouch, sneak up to the guard on your right, and take him down by pressing “X” on your controller. Taking out this guard will make your escape easier.
Then, keep moving forward and follow me as we take down two more guards. When you reach them, wait until they start walking to your left, then send Nix to attack while you sneak up on them. Press the “X” button to take them down almost simultaneously.
With both guards out of the way, head to the big fan in front of you. Use Nix to hold the button that stops the fan. Crouch by pressing “B” and keep moving forward. On your left, you’ll see some stairs—go down them. In the new room, loot everything you can first, then access the computer and break the code. Remember: blue means the correct sequence, yellow means the right option but in the wrong order, and red means it’s all wrong. After that, open the big chest on your left to grab the Ion energy converters.
Now, let's get out without being caught. Follow me all the way back up the stairs, and use Nix again to stop the fan. Retrace your steps until you're out of the restricted area. Once you're clear, you don’t need to worry anymore. Open your map and fast travel to Mirogana Landing Zone. Once there, call your speeder because you’ll need to head to Jaunta’s Hope. We’ll use the workbench inside your ship to upgrade your blaster. Since it’s an easy route, I’ll skip ahead in the video.
When you enter your ship, head left and interact with the workbench. Choose the Modules option, select the ION icon, press “Y” for requirement details, and hold the “A” button to assemble and equip.
Now that your blaster is upgraded, Danka will give you the coordinates to steal the stash. Follow me, and once we get there, you’ll need to shoot the capacitor to energize it and open the door. Go inside, grab the stash, and return to Danka to complete the New Tricks quest in Star Wars Outlaws.
