How to Track the Score of Spawned Chairs | Devlog 23 - Unreal Engine GameDev
Devlog 23 - Calculating, Tracking, and Displaying the Chair Score
In this episode of Unreal Engine 4, I'm making a widget blueprint that displays the current score of chairs placed down in the classroom game. It involves using variables to remember how many chairs have been spawned in and showing the score somewhere on the screen. I also use a little icon to add some aesthetic to the game. :)
There is also the formatting of the score which involves using nodes like Format Text or ToText (integer). Very handy little fellas when making your text come out exactly how you envisioned it! Check out the video for more details!
My videos are inspired by Youtubers such as Dani, Make Games with Katie, Code Bullet, and Sebastian Lague. If you don't know who they are, I highly recommend checking them out!
