Devlog #19 - Placing Chairs at Tables using Fixed Locations
In this episode of Unreal Engine 4 beginners, I'm building some functionality for chair placements. It involves using scene objects as attach points and spawning in the appropriate actors based on collisions or overlaps with the table actor.
This allows the chairs to placed in a fixed location every single time! The only issue I'm having right now is rotating the objects into the correct orientations. A problem which I will fix before the next video!
My videos are inspired by Youtubers such as Dani, Make Games with Katie, Code Bullet, and Sebastian Lague. If you don't know who they are, I highly recommend checking them out!
