How to Make a Randomly (or Procedurally?) Generated HOUSE | Devlog #17 - GameDev
Devlog #17 - The RPG House
It's finally happened. I'm going into real estate. UNREAL estate! No? Okay. But I'm making a house with Unreal Engine 4! Basically, just putting together what I know from previous tutorials to see how random the texture or material designs can be for simple housing structures. This might be known as procedural generation but I'm not too sure. Might be too simple for that title.
What's involved? Moving doors, random face colors, personally-designed minecraft-like textures, lighting, player controller input, and your favourite bald android!
