To update the #GNS3VM to the latest version:

Step 1: If you have not already installed GNS3 VM, please refer to the following video or article.

Step 2: You have installed the GNS3 VM and when a new version of the program is released, you do not need to install it from scratch. Because you will record your network projects and Cisco images you have added to the server. So you need to update your GNS3 Server.

Step 3: Now run your GNS3 VM and check the version in the upper left corner.

Step 4: Open the advanced configuration of the Server by pressing Enter on the OK button.

Step 5: From the options you see, press Enter again on the Upgrade option.

Step 6: The required packages will be downloaded and installed over the Internet. At this time, do not attempt any other operation.

Step 7: After the update process is complete, the virtual server will restart and open with the new version.
