How to Use Controller in NON Supported Controller Game on STEAM PC (Settings Tutorial)
If you want to use a controller in a non-supported game on Steam, there are a few methods you can try:
Add Non-Steam Game to Steam:
Find the game’s executable file (not the launcher) on your PC.
Open Steam and go to Library - Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library.
Browse for the game’s executable file and add it to your library.
Make sure you have Steam Overlay and Big Picture Overlay enabled in the settings.
Launch the game from Steam and configure your controller.
Steam Controller Configuration:
Right-click the game you want to play with your controller in your Steam library.
Select Properties.
Navigate to the Controller section.
Here, you can override your default input for the game and customize your specific button layout.
Global Steam Controller Application (for Steam Deck):
Open Steam Settings.
Go to the In-Game tab.
Enable the second option (which is related to controllers).
Download the Global Steam Controller Application to set up controller support for all non-Steam games
