How to View Monthly GAMES for PS PLUS on PS5 Every 1st Tuesday each Month!
1You're in luck! PlayStation makes it very easy to find the monthly PS Plus games, and the "best method" is a combination of knowing the release schedule and where to look.
The Release Schedule
The key to this is understanding the PlayStation Plus schedule. The new monthly games for the Essential tier are:
Announced: The Wednesday before the first Tuesday of the month.
Released: The first Tuesday of every month.
This means you can get a sneak peek a few days before they become available for download.
How to View the Games on PS5
There are two primary places to find the monthly games:
Method 1: The PlayStation Plus Tab (Most Direct Method)
This is the most reliable and direct way to find the games as soon as they become available.
From the PS5 home screen, navigate to the PlayStation Plus icon. It's typically located on the top bar of the screen.
Once you select the PS Plus icon, you'll be taken to the dedicated PS Plus hub.
Scroll down, and you will see a section titled "Monthly Games" (or similar wording like "Last Chance" and "New Games"). This is where the games will be featured for you to add to your library.
Select the game you want and choose "Add to Library" to claim it. Once added to your library, it's yours to keep and play as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
Method 2: The PlayStation Store
You can also find the games directly through the PlayStation Store.
From the PS5 home screen, go to the PlayStation Store (the shopping bag icon).
Navigate to the "Games" section.
The monthly PS Plus games are usually prominently featured on the store's main page or on a special "PlayStation Plus" banner.
