Do you hate Scrap Brain Zone Act 3 in the original Sonic The Hedgehog? Of course you do. Thankfully, there is a rather huge shortcut to skip much of the unnecessary water sections of the pseudo-Labyrinth Zone. All you have to do simply fall of the moving platform before it reaches the end. It is still dangerous to navigate, as falling down will send you back down to the long route. Successful navigating this path drops you to the final checkpoint just before the end of the level. This path can take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to clear Act 3, while taking the long path will take anywhere from 4 to 5 minutes.

This is hardly a big secret to anybody who has played this before, but it's here for anyone who doesn't know about it. For the record, this is a Sonic 1 bonus video for my Sonic The Hedgehog No Damage Walkthrough. I actually take the long route for the challenge. This shortcut is here for those who rather not take the long route, or are simply sick of Labyrinth Zone style stages!
