Collision Chaos BOSS SKIP/WALL CLIP Glitch: Sonic CD (SEGA Mega-CD) ✔
Do you hate the Collision Chaos Boss battle in Sonic CD? Of course you do. It's obnoxious in the original version. Thankfully, there is a way to bypass Collision Chaos Act 3 in a matter of seconds, thanks to a wall clip glitch that is apparently not all that well known on YouTube. All it really requires is knowledge of the Super Peel Out move introduced in Sonic CD. This can also be done in Time Attack mode, which is where I demonstrate the Collision Chaos Boss Skip.

Here's how it's done. Charge up the Peel Out (Hold Up + B) for a few seconds, and pause the game. Now hold diagonally down-left (south-east) and un-pause the game. QUICKLY pause the game again after releasing the Peel Out, but BEFORE the move finishes. Sonic should be moving forward while crouching, storing the action in the game's memory. Finally, hold diagonally up-left (north-east) and un-pause the game again to complete the action. The conflict of input between two different actions confuses the game, and allows you to pass through what is normally a solid wall, and the incorrect sprites will load due to passing through in a way that was unintended by developers. Enjoy that sweet 50'000 Time Bonus and an easy extra life to boot!
A few additional things to consider: you cannot stand next to a wall to do this. You must be at least several steps away to give sufficient space to allow this glitch to work. This glitch can also be used in ANY level in order to pass through solid walls that normally require vertical navigation to progress. It may take numerous attempts to get the pattern down, but the key thing to remember is that Sonic MUST be moving forward in his crouch position, otherwise it won't work, and needs to be attempted again.
