Turns out there's a limit to how much explosion the game can take. I started out nice and small and everything was fine. Then suddenly, as soon as I made the explosions eight times bigger the game started to lag a bit. Once I changed them to remote detonate things got even worse. I tried to blow up the entire villa at once but the game definitely crashed. I learned to limit how many bombs at once I used. This was still enough to absolutely obliterate anything in the game. Plus we still had our moons, and some very cool custom levels.
