I Retired to Nauvis, Part 32: INSERTERS
0Reducing scope, in a (futile?) attempt to keep control over video
length, this will just be "build a bunch of inserters" in the
same vein as the BELT build just finished.
This hopefully short video will be unvoiced.
The geometry of the layout is going to be VERY VERY similar to
the layout for the BELT block, so I will start by just
duplicating that block (with inputs not yet attached), then
adjust recipes and interconnections for an inserter block.
The full plan actually calls for 3x BLUE assemblers and 4x YELLOW
assemblers. I did not realize this until after building the
normal grid layout, but after inserting SPEED 3 modules in those
assemblers, my throughput is not too bad.
Doubling the array pulled me up to 180 stack inserters per
minute, and 90 stack filter inserters per minute (so 90 stack
inserters added to the logistics net). The others are less
important as my bulk uses will all be stack.
