Throughput testing and refactoring for the Module Fasctory.


METHODOLOGY: using Creative Mod, set up void request chests to sink all of the production of the Modules factory, and look for bottlenecks. Using Max Rate Calculator mod, verify that loading and unloading rates from each machine are within the abilities of the inserters, and that the total capacity of each production grid is sufficient for the planned rates (15/min of Speed and Productivity 3 Modules). Increase logistics bots as needed. Determine levels for request chests assuring that production can continue while materials are in-flight .Take note of factory layout changes needed and consider the logistic robot requirements.

Restore the save, without Creative Mod, and apply the changes, using combinators to control the logistic request quantities and the output levels, using the request and production levels determined during the observation phase. Establish delivery of additional logistic robots. Observe throughput rates in the module as we populate the factory.
