The Annoying Leak in the Space Dimension - Talon's Oasis - Ep 131
21Too many pockets of oxygen! It's time to adjust the way our custom dimension is generated, and experiment with some of the world gen settings as well as some placed features.
Extra Stuff:
- Interesting fact: void air is normally used for the void (obviously) and ungenerated chunks. Definitely causes some glitchiness, that's for sure.
- I'm not crazy about the chunks full of air. It's actually consistent behavior and causes the same issue if a chunk was full of cave air too. Turns out there's a bug report about it here: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-232360?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Aall-tabpanel
- I figured out how to refine the structure! I was thinking about it afterwards and realized I could use a jigsaw processor to transform regular air blocks into void air blocks. Additionally I found a configured feature that might let us refine the air around sculk sensors more directly and with greater control. In any case this episode has spawned an entirely new (and better) way of looking at the space dimension!
Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
