Impulsion is a First Person parkour game, but with the feature to fire bubbles that either slow down the time or that speed it up. While the speed down bubble act like a circular body of water, where you can jump a additional time in it, it also slows down lasers (for some reason). The bubble that speeds up the time, can be used like a boost pad, you can use it to sprint and jump a longer distance, it also speeds up the lasers. Normally they should curve around these bubbles and either draging behind at that point or going ahead (depending if the time bubble slows down or speeds up time). I should mention that the source of these lasers are at another point, so these bubbles affect the source as well even it it isn't in the range of the bubble.
Okay it's game logic... so i should leave it as it is.
The game in itself is quite fun and would be really popular as a mod for a existing fps game, but here it is a standalone game.
Each course gets more complex and difficult as the previous one, but the learning/difficulty curve is done well, so even if you're not used to this type game, i think you can quickly adapt it's quirks and getting better each run. If you run into a laser or laserfield, you either restart the level or restart from the last checkpoint. So aside the timer, there is no pressure in progressing. You can restart each course as much as you want and you can go back to earlier played courses, to practice a bit more and to grab a new personal record or even world record.
