A look at the keywords found on cards in Magic.

Flying: 1:00 Cannot be blocked by creatures without flying.
Reach: Can block creatures with flying. Does not grant flying to the user however.
Lifelink: 2:03 Any damage dealt by this creature is also added to it's owners life pool.
Haste: 2:41 Can tap the turn it is played without waiting for the player's next turn.
First Strike: 3:21 This creature deals damage before other creatures. It sucker punches the other creature to start combat.
Double Strike: 3:43 This allows a creature to deal both first strike and normal damage, allowing it to hit twice.
Trample: 5:12 Any damage leftover after the creature kills an opposing blocker is dealt to the opposing player or a planeswalker they control.
Indestructible: 6:21 This creature cannot be dealt damage or destroyed. It can still be exiled or given -1/-1 counters though.
Hexproof: 7:46 Cannot be targetted by spells or abilities from an opposing player.
Flash: 9:23 This spell can be cast as if it is an instant.
Menace: 10:26 This creature cannot be blocked by a single creature. It must be blocked by 2 or more.
Vigilance: 11:27 This creature does not tap when attacking. Useful for creatures with abilities that require them to tap.
Deathtouch: 12:46 Any amount of damage dealt by this creature will kill opposing creatures. Does nothing to players however.
Defender: 13:46 This creature cannot attack. It may still block.
