Iron Meat (PC) CO-OP Playthrough / The most disgusting and terrifying invasion , in retro style.
Iron Meat (2024) by Ivan Valeryevich Suvorov and Retroware is a run and gun game in the good old arcade style. In the game we will not experience any significant dialogues, and we can deduce the plot only through our own observations. Some experiment that is conducted on the moon fails, and the consequence is the escape of a virus that mutates everything with which it comes into contact. This virus is able to mutate organic matter along with machines, making them into deadly hybrids. This mutation gets through a portal to earth which threatens to annihilate all known life on earth, and our task is to stop it and destroy it at its source. This game is basically no different from the standard classics of the genre, it does not introduce any original mechanics. But its reality and the world in which we move is truly fascinating. When we see elements of the rooms or streets mutating with the virus, it creates a remarkably unique atmosphere. This is the theme that, for me, sells this game. The atmosphere itself. Graphically it's pixel art of a high order, and the fast-paced metal music gives us the impression of a constant fight for life. Well thought-out and multi-stage boss fights are also one of the elements you need to pay attention to, although their style and design are already beautiful. The gameplay is very dynamic and intense, because even for a moment we can not lose vigilance, because in our direction often fly enemy projectiles as well as hordes of monsters... We highly recommend this game especially for 2 players, because in two is always better.
