Fractured Worlds is an Indie, Isometric, Hack and Slash ARPG Diablo 1 like, + Dark Souls influences, a sort of Diablo + Dark Souls.
It’s an Isometric ARPG Diablo + Dark Souls Dungeon Crawler!

Diablo + Dark Souls?
Sort of
Like Diablo, Fractured Worlds has Random Dungeon maps made with Procedural Generation, so you never know exactly how the dungeon will look.
Like Diablo 1, you pick from 3 character classes, available right at the start.
In Fractured Worlds, we have the Warrior, Mage, and Spellblade.
They all start with different abilities, and like Diablo 1, when you lvl, you get 5 attribute points to put in where you like.
Also like Diablo 1, you learn skills from found books in the dungeon; this is a huge departure from the later Diablo 2, which had all character ability upgrades come from their class trees.

The Darks Souls Influences:
Unlike Diablo, and very much like Dark Souls, you have an active dodge roll here, as well as an active block and stamina system.
Taking another page from Dark Souls, you also can be invaded by red jerks who come to kill you; joy.
However, you can also find and invite white helpers in the dungeon; which is fun.
There are also the tough sorts of bosses Dark Souls is known for, present in Fractured Worlds as well.
Additionally, some enemies have Poise, which you have to smash through in order to dps stagger them.

Online Co-op is planned, in case that is something that interests you.

Controller Support is present, but did not feel great to me; I found it less responsive.
Additionally, the character sheet, skills, and inventory are not bound.
Thankfully, mouse and keyboard play is present, and excellent, so that is what I used in the above video.

Note: This is an Early look at Fractured Worlds so any bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, Fractured Worlds is a fun Indie, Isometric, Hack and Slash ARPG Diablo 1 like Action RPG, + Dark Souls influences, and is easily well worth a wishlist and a watch.
