Outcast A New Beginning is an Open World, SciFi Action Adventure where you fly around on a jetpack, blasting apart robots with your blasters; it’s fun.

A Sci-Fi Future, TODAY!
Do you like Jetpacks? Do you like wing-suits?
How about energy shields?
If this sounds good to you, you’re likely like the new Outcast quite a bit!

Plus, there is a Dead Space influence to the game, with the current visible energy displayed on the character’s back, making it very apparent at a glance during play how much jump jet energy you got, which is very important, as it feeds much of your mobility.
Don’t worry over much though, as this is the far flung future, so your jetpack energy cells rapidly replenish, so you don’t have to go trucking back to base to fuel up, in Outcast, you bring your fuel with you!
This extends to your blasters somewhat as well, as they do not need to reload, only cool down after firing if you push them too hard, which means just swap to another while it cools down!
The blasters here are fed by the weird green and red resources you find and mine around the map, and robots drop em too, so you’re not very likely to run out of ammo here!
Weapon modding is also a thing here, with each of the 2 guns able to hold 4 modifiers found in game, and you can upgrade them using upgrade drops; nice.

Outcast, You VERY Pretty…
Now, I’m not one to focus over much on the visuals of a game, as I tend to focus much more on the gameplay and available player interactions, but Outcast A New Beginning is a very beautiful game,
Jaw droppingly so in fact.
So, if you favor the eye candy, you may have found your match!

Controller Support is present, as is good old mouse and keyboard.
I found mouse and Keyboard just felt much better and more responsive here, so that is what I used mostly in the above video.

Still, Outcast A New Beginning is an Open World, Sci-Fi Action Adventure where you fly around on a jetpack, blasting apart robots with your blasters; it’s very fun, and is easily well worth a wishlist and a watch.
