It Takes Two - Part 13 - Winter Wonderland
0Hello everyone and welcome back to It Takes Two.
We find ourselves back in this spooky room ready to push forward. As we move the floor begins to slip away from underneath us. There are large metal birds that begin to attack us, They are breaking through the glass floor underneath us until there is nothing left. The bird then grabs both Cody & May and takes us through the clock. Cody uses his new ability to make a part of the clock hit the bird knocking Cody & May out of its grasp. The clock seems to be falling apart and there are so many parts that are able to damage us.
The clock tower is also able to use the same ability as Cody and rewind time, changing the area around us. Eventually the clock begin to break down and explode, Cody need to use his rewind to help May make it to a safe location. Once May is safe Cody is now able to make his way there too destroying part of the clock on there way out. At the end of the clock Cody & May both find there wooden figures that have been following and helping through this area. Together they are able to reach the end of the clock and collect one part of the letter. We are able to see the changed in the real world as Rose is now able to see the clock working even though it has been broken for many years.
We learn that Cody & May need to work through another puzzle to help there attraction with each other once again. This time Cody & May land in a level filled with snow and hills, its here we are given our new abilities. The book splits a magnet in half and each player gets one half so they are able to attract and repel certain objects. Cody & May soon realise that they are trapped inside a snow globe that they bought at there skiing trip together. This level really gets your brain working as different colours attract and same colours repel. Using our new magnets we are able to get around the level. Sometimes we even need to help each other.
Its nice to see Cody & May getting along and talking about old times they have had together even before Rose was born. The two of them really seem to get on. Soon enough we come across a small cabin that allows Cody & May to get warm. There are a change of clothes that also allow them to stay warm indoors. The two are able to fins a pair of skis each and race around until they reach a small down that they remember being filled with people. However the town has now ben frozen over and we need to help. To break the ice we need to break the ice by ringing the bells in the towers. We look around the first part of town and climb the tower together using our new abilities. We are able to ring the bell and watch as the people come to life.
