Dying Light 2 - Part 12 - Jack & Joe Have The Water Tower!
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Dying Light 2.
Aitor wants to meet with us about what is happening. He knows that Sophie is going to attack Jack & Joe and he's not to pleased about it. Aitor is going to search the Bazaar and wants to warn us as the people might believe we are a spy. Aitor wants us to find out when Sophie is going to attack and report that information back to him. We travel back to the camp to speak with Sophie but she is not here, so we ask around to a few of the other survivors.
Barney is also at the camp waiting for Sophie's orders, but he has been drinking and is drunk. Barney does not like us and we don't like him. Sophie joins the camp and we are able to speak with her, she talks about how her mother asked the PK's for help and they ignored her. At this point I'm not sure what side I agree with more but a have not taken a liking to most of the survivors. Sophie now has her plan in order and she is aware that the PKs are also watching her. Sophie gives us our orders of how to approach the camp.
We enter the camp from the side and make our way around killing off any enemies that we encounter. At these enemy camps there is normally a boss that we need to defeat before we can take over the area. Once all the enemies are defeated we can raise the flag and hand it over to the survivors. Carl was being held here so we are also able to free him. Carl seems worried and tells us to radio Sophie fast, but we cant get through to her. Carl wants us to help her and gives us a location to get to quickly. Once we approach the hotel Hakon also contacts us and reminds us that we are only trying to reach the next town area, now have to make a quick decision and choose a side. We choose to follow Hakon advise and return to Aitor and leave Sophie to fend for herself.
We return to Aitor and tell him all the information we have, hopefully this will allow us to use the tunnels. However Aitor needs our help with something else. Jack & Joe have taken over the water town and have planted explosives. Aitor wants us to sneak inside and disarm the explosives, we can then hand over the water tower to the PK's. This will give them more power in the area and they might be able to find out who killed Lucas.
We travel straight to the water tower and find Jack & Joe still at the tower. The explosives are still armed so we have to remove them quickly. There are explosives at the base of the tower and all the way up, so we need to climb all the way up checking every floor on the way. Once we reach the Top Jack & Joe threaten to blow up the tower, but we know this is no longer an option. We try to talk with them and stop a fight from happening. We tell them the bombs have already been removed and we are willing to help them as long as we hand over the tower. Jack & Joe tell us that they tipped off Barney about Lucas wanting to take him in, but Barney never ran her confronted Lucas. Could he have killed him too? We offer to help Jack & Joe and they hand over the tower, we tell them to hide and wait and we will get them to a safe settlement soon.
Now we have control of the tower we can choose between the Peacekeepers or the Survivors. Each side will give us a different rewards that will help us whilst exploring. There are only a limited amount of areas so we have to choose wisely. We hand over the water tower to the Peacekeepers, hopefully this will help them find the killer and allow us to use the tunnel into the city.
