Despite the Handler continuing to badger me to stay on task (please go get lost somewhere!), I had quite a nice casual stroll around the [base?] of the Rotten Vale and pretending to look for signs of Zorah Magdaros. There's a lot of good resources to pick up so long as you stay off the beaten path.

Odogaron is a pretty nice change of pace and quite the aggressive little meat doggo. Fun fight and a real challenge to not bleed to death the entire time. Surprised I didn't get carted super quick. Handler was extra overdramatic after that fight.

Diablos on the other hand - it was generally a pushover in Freedom Unite, but it certainly caught me off guard for a couple of carts during the fight in World. I think part of it is that some of the hitboxes are super jank - I got hefty Plesioth vibes from those hip checks and a couple of tail swipes. Still a generally fun fight, and the Kool-Aid Man maneuver it does in the cave is surprisingly intimidating.
