Decided to test a theory regarding the Sea Monkeys since they seem to have a suspiciously uncanny ability to determine what items I'm looking for. They appear to read your pinned blueprints and probably your inventory(/vitals?) as well. Ended up getting Magnetite way sooner than I thought I would. I wonder whether there's a limit on which raw materials they can find.
Got an air pipe network super far out (one of the wacky ideas I've been wanting to experiment with since the first game) and also got a chance to start messing around with power transmitters a bit more to see how far I can get solar/thermal power extended out. Both are really inconsistent in how far you can connect each piece, and I'd love to get a better understanding of what each node expects.
Also: finally got my Prawn suit! That was surprisingly early (though super welcome due to also getting the Drilling Arm). Now I can go a bit deeper & fight off at least a few of the larger creatures. The downside is that now I have to juggle between Seatruck and Prawn, as I don't have the Cyclops' ability to carry vehicles [yet?].
Passed by the [adult] Vent Garden later this session and I realize now that I should have gone back - it would have saved me a lot of hassle later on.
