After doing a bunch of exploring on land, it’s time to wriggle my Seatruck back out into the open ocean. I’m surprised I got it there in the first place. Luckily if things get too tricky, you can take it apart and move it piece by piece.
Now that I’ve finally found that Laser Cutter, I can roam around the Mercury II wrecks a little bit. Outside of getting fragments for the Parallel Processing Unit (what am I gonna do with that?), I also got a lot of Fuel Rods for my Nuclear Power Plant.
I finally found the Spiral Plant in the strangest of places that I really should have checked earlier - the Vent Garden! On the way I even managed to continue getting trolled after finding Loop Plants and Tornado Plates - apparently this planet’s full of twisty creatures. Now I can get moving on Depth Modules.
I ended up losing my Prawn due to a Chelicerate wandering far away from its normal hunting grounds and even passing through the ground (an unfortunately common problem with the larger Leviathan species). That knocked the wind out of me for the rest of the session. I was at least able to rebuild the Prawn much better than before thanks to having gotten the Spiral Plant Clippings earlier.
