Mighty Goose is an Arcade-style Run & Gun (& Honk) shmup that I've been following for a while. As you might expect, you play as a goose outfitted with cybernetic limbs including a gun arm who happens to be a mercenary hired to fight off an evil army and rescue all manner of potential sidekicks.

The game looks & plays pretty well - it's a little looser than games like Metal Slug but overall is responsive and seems to have a lot of room for skilled play & speed runs. The game's music really nails the arcade feels and that's no surprise after finding out that the composer also did the music for Blazing Chrome and Rival Megagun (as well as the upcoming Gravity Circuit).
