JNPT'S Container Volume Growth Rises 11.6% In June | ET Now | Latest News | Business News
3JNPT Container volume improved by 11.6% YoY (1.4% MoM) in June 2022. As per a note by Phillip Capital, an improvement in container volumes is positive for Concor, Gateway Distriparks, and Navkar Corp. This is for the third straight month where the container volume growth has been positive. Import volume increased by 18% YoY to 255,705 TEU and 7.9% on MoM during June 2022. Export containers grew by 5.6% YoY while down by 4.8% MoM to 237,631 TEU in June 2022
Container volumes were up by 21.5% in FY22 to an all-time high of 5.68mn TEU. Concor saw an intraday high of 5 percent with volumes at 12x its 20-day average.
