With the inversion in bond yield curve, the threat of recession is also lurking around the corner. In the last 100 years, whenever the bond yield curve has inverted, the U.S economy has been hit by recession in the next 9 to 22 months. Now, GDP is not the sole criteria for declaring a recession.
