There Are Attractive Opportunities In The New-Age Tech Companies Available: Adrian Lim
3Adrian Lim, Investment Director – Asian Equities, abrdn spoke to ET NOW and began by acknowledging that it is a very difficult environment to call currently. He believes that markets in India will be sensitive to fuel and energy costs. “I do not expect volatility to go away given demand-supply dynamics and heightened fuel levels that here to stay.”
“We have large positions in both HDFC and HDFC Bank, we like the institutions, the underlying story, and the merger deal. We have holdings in Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, and HDFC twins and like their leadership & focus.” Lim says there are attractive opportunities in the new-age tech companies available but one needs to be selective. “We tend to like companies which have attractive market position likes of Infoedge, Policybazar, Delhivery, Nykaa.”
