If somebody can make a better tutorial, fire away. I just want something more visual out there is all. Play at 2x speed and add in your own music if you want.

The big reason to do Grid Reading is to overcome distance disadvantage without excessive reliance on mobility. Obviously, if you're using a standard Club, you're going to be forced to be basically an in-fighter while dealing with out-fighters giving you fits, and herding and scaring the out-fighters is still a notion you'd want the basics nailed down for, even if thankfully at least that's able to potentially cause panic button spam to get weakened by their potentially being twitched in fear of doing an improper dodge against read attempts, but once aspects like the scarier Powers come into play, you better have backup measures. This is where Grid Reading comes into play.

First thing I cover is Line Powers, which are generally the scariest to the Mighty Glacier on their mere concepts.

Here's a list of the full row and column Powers and what they do to deserve it:
-Slip Shot (ignores terrain cover)
-Trade-Off (duration invincibility, 2x ATK, mobility boost)
-Aries Armor (duration big damage taken percentage cut without TO's drawback)
(Note that Slip Shot has a hole for a Line Power at L1, but L1 also provides only 1 charge, and it also won't fit with 2x6 rectangle shape Powers.)

And for the Line Powers? Here you go:
-Super Speed (5 charges of not difficult escape for 9 spaces, also capable of flanking for offense)
-Mega Laser (L4 2x6) (ranged attack that ignores terrain cover)
-Reflect Barrier L4 (2x6) (popular, naturally Skill Gates VS Skyscraper/Babel/Black/Magnus Clubs)
-Autoreticle L2+ (easy aiming making it notable with Slip Shot usage)
-Virus (L3 2x6) (anti-melee in general, consistent and reapplied Paralysis can allow chaining into Attack Power such as Explosive Flame or Meteor Shower)
-Instant Death Attack (L3 2x6) (name says it all, single player or not)
-Power Thief (can take Power charges on mere Melee Combo 1 hits)
-Bumblebee (L3 2x6) (auto-dodge nullifies consequences of singular hit, including Energy Charge removal, on trigger)
-Double Item L4 (2x6) (....not sure why, honestly...item spam abuse maybe?)
-Fortune's Jukebox L2 (....well, this is a joke Power anyway)

Explosive Flame L3+ and Random Effect L4+ also require a full line using the same shapes as Slip Shot L1, with EF4 requiring a full row and column. EF deals higher damage per interval and RE can roll statuses like Freeze. However, knowing that isn't useful because the Level differences for them isn't reasonable to pinpoint in the middle of battle. Autoreticle at least has a 6 second duration difference between Levels. (Power Thief does too, but requires a full line already.)

Energy Charge needs its own section at 18:07 since while it does have mnemonics as opposed to Brief Invincibility, they're still subtle, only being smoked out by EC's popularity. Fortunately, each Level does have EC, assuming corner placement, flank 1 center space and use space on one quadrant of the Power Grid. Keep in mind, however, the distinctions, because Energy Charge L3 doesn't use any center spaces on corner placement, so it can fit Slip Shot L3 and the Female Box shape (Quick Charge L3 or Homing Boost L2), so it might be better to understand that the shapes of EC are as follows: Female Box, APC, Chunky L, Castle. It's a mercy that Energy Charge L1 struggles to be maintained.

As for Pisces Heal VS Libra Sponge at 24:16, Pisces Heal's unconditional usage of a center space and inconvenient shapes locks out singleton options, deterring higher Level Power bias with further Powers on the Trade-Off combination setup. Any Power costing more than 6 spaces that isn't involving an L shape or the Very Wide U that Jump Glide L4 has also outs Pisces Heal's Level immediately, and Reflect Barrier has an easy mnemonic of using 2x(L+2) rectangles as well. Libra Sponge does by contrast allow some options because the L1 shape just uses the Chunky L and therefore avoids center space usage while the L2 shape is the widest chunky shape in the game, allowing it to still slip in more slender Powers, though the results are still iffy, even if the maintained options does at least indicate the developers having caught on about these combinations from the start and gave a clearer disadvantage to Trade-Off with Pisces Heal to offset its ultimately higher burst of tempo than Aries Armor with Libra Sponge.

At the end of the day, we'd want the worst case scenario to be for anybody who can and would make a followup game, whether it be Masahiro Sakurai providing a remaster or somebody else making a Spiritual Successor, to see these promising aspects and figure out how to really incorporate them into an interesting product.
