Finally broke through and completed the game. I settled on the easiest mode, Regret, for my first playthrough. For this video I show the first death on the final boss, but it unlocks a new checkpoint, so I showed it to demonstrate how progression works during the fight. All the other deaths on the final boss were edited out.
This final stage took me hours to beat. The full game playthrough still took me close to 22 hours as the game is extremely difficult on any difficulty setting. I included both the final stage and final boss fights in this Difficult Gameplay Sections playlist since they are both difficult. Though the final boss was pretty easy for me taking me only around 15 minutes to beat. The biggest roadblocks were stages 4 and 5 which took the longest to complete. The game has 5 stages total, but each gets alot harder. They are endurance battles without alot of room for error.
Next I will lean toward completing the Hardest Mode, Severence. Since I really enjoyed the game. I may also mix in completions of stages on other difficulties too,as I work my way through. I jumped around alot so I dont have an isolated completion time for Regret mode. I also completed stages on other difficulties as well as failed attempts on those. I may try the 1CC mode after completing Severence mode, which is what interests me more. I will post up progress, failed attempts and completed stages on Severence, like usual.
