Kingdom Hearts 1 FM (PS4): Part 42: The Beginning of The End of the World
9After taking care of some other things into other worlds, I decided that it's now time for the final frontier of this game's story.
After a tough Gummi Ship course, the final world that lies past Hollow Bastion... isn't even a full world at all. It is literally called The End of the World.
Whatever world this place used to be... it's just barely there anymore. The ground isn't even visble, and the first area has you try to get further through it with invisible paths.
The trio enters this "world", in their search of Ansem, who has fled to here. They wonder what will happen to them and this world after they're finished with business.
After this cutscene finishes with Sora promising to Kairi that he will return her lucky charm to her... something else will unlock elsewhere in Final Mix that I will cover...

Along the away, massive globes of darkness will capture the trio and trap them into a inside a space that forces them to fight some of the toughest Heartless in the game, such as the sword-wielding Invisibles and the ironically-named and visualized Angel Stars, and even Arc Behemoths.
After defeating them, you might be able to reach a treasure chest in the regular area. HOWEVER, some of these chests are boody trapped and will bring you back into this fighting space. If you can beat them from there, the treasure will automatically be given to you.

If you manage to make it to the end that shows a massive portal behind some pillars, one more globe will will capture you and force you to fight another Arc Behemoth. Beating that will take the trio through an icy chasm full of crystals. They will eventually have to drop down to the bottom of this chasm, while spots will force you to fight even more Heartless.
Try Gliding around to find some more treasures. Some of them may be weapons for Donald and Goofy.
There a Save Point near the end of this area, which is right next to a portal that will bring the trio into the World Terminus area of this final world.
