Are you looking for some VR jumpscares? Perhaps you just want the scariest VR game for under £5, something to dare your friends to try? Kobold VR (Kobold VR experience chapter 1) might just be that game. Well, it's actually more of an interactive short film, with a high level of polish & some seriously impressive sound design, this VR haunted house had me squirming for the entirety of it's short run time. If you're looking for something similiar to Blair Witch VR then pick this cheap VR game up today & put yourself through an intense hour of scares.

KOBOLD VR is one of many short VR horror games that have sat in my library for a little while now, today I thought I would work up the courage to jump in and see if Kobold VR experience is worth checking out. The game currently goes for around £3 on Steam and I'd say thats definitely a fair asking price for the content you get. In Kobold Chapter 1 / Kobold VR you're treated to roughly one hour of story driven horror, if you really explore every corner of the house I expect you'll get more than that but for most players the overall runtime will likely clock in at around 45-50minutes. This is one of those short VR horror games / best cheap VR games that you pick up to throw your friends & family into, when you're all gathered around and in need of some entertainment this is the perfect style of VR experience for the audience to enjoy whilst the player freaks out.

Kobold VR experience may never see any follow up chapters but it would be a huge shame if Kobold chapter 1 didn't recieve a continuation at some point. This Kobold VR gameplay / Kobold VR playthrough comprises of almost everything that is available in this release, although I've been told there are a few more VR jumpscares in there for players who go poking around in different areas. The visuals are stunning for a VR game that launched back in 2018 & it's sound design is on par with the very best VR horror games out there. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this Blair Witch VR style Haunted House VR game gets a more substantial follow up at some point in the future.
