230Who knew a VR traffic simulator could be so much fun?! Traffic Jams VR is here to show you that controlling the flow of traffic (or not controlling it) can be turned into one of the best family friendly VR games out there, not to mention the fact it includes a couch co-op multiplayer mode that also puts it immediately near the top of the VR party games list for Oculus Quest / Oculus Quest 2. Traffic Jams gameplay / Traffic Jams VR gameplay feels like it takes some ques from the incredibly popular Overcooked series, time & resource management are key here, looking after multiple lanes of traffic and sidewalks filled with pedestrains as they all get increasingly angry at you and start to ignore your requests for them to stop quickly becomes chaotic and overwhelmingly funny! Traffic Jams might not appeal to those looking for a more action packed experience but for those with a knack for multitasking & those looking for family friendly VR games or VR party games with phones should add this one to their list of games to check out.
Family friendly VR games are a strangely niche market, most VR releases tend to lean towards action packed, high octane shooting or adult adventure experiences but there are a few games landing now that aim to fill the void of VR games that a whole family or group of friends can get involved in. Traffic Jams Quest 2 gameplay can be played entirely solo, a fully fleshed out campaign with mutliple worldspanning locations, objectives to accomplish, high scores to set & different times of day/difficulties to master will keep you busy for a decent chunk of time. Traffic Jams multiplayer mode is where it really sets itself apart however, adding countless hours to the playtime via a couch co-op experience that allows players outside of VR to control the flow of traffic from their mobile devices, meaning the player in VR has to contend with whatever their friends or family throw at them.
