DanDan Dungeon Daibouken (だんだんダンジョン大冒険, roughly, "The Great On and On Dungeon Adventure") is a bonus first-person dungeon exploration jRPG set in the labyrinth beneath Belzebuth Castle, and sufficiently long and involved that it could stand separately as its own game, if one with virtually no plotline.

At the end of each floor, Korona must face one of her friends as a boss, who then joins the party when beaten. With the help of her allies, she must conquer eight floors full of monsters, tricks, and traps to finally reach Noel. There's an ending upon beating her, but then Noel joins and the way to an even more challenging ninth floor opens up. Assuming you can find it...

Also, the game includes quite a few external references, including a surprising number of monsters loosely based on (usually B-list) horror films, like The Deadly Spawn, TerrorVision, The Day The World Ended, and Frogs. On the other hand, the main story does mention Korona's mother enjoying such movies, and Noel joining her after moving in with them, so it makes a certain amount of sense.

As I mention early in the video, I'm not currently planning a playthrough of the bonus dungeon game, though there's a pretty good chance I'll come back to it sooner or later. Maybe as a Saturday streaming thing? That would probably work fairly well. We'll see.

For now, however, this is the conclusion of the Korona playlist. Hope you enjoyed!

And for the curious, I've put together an arguably overly detailed guide to the game, with all the playable characters and their abilities, full item and enemy lists, event information and annotated maps for each floor, and of course text translations. You can find that here if you're interested: http://kwhazit.infinityfreeapp.com/trans/korona/DDDD.html

Also, for what it's worth, Korona's MP recovery ability is 1 per 20 damage she inflicts, not 1 per 10. Still useful, and still a minimum of 1.
