Some of you may remember a series I did back in 2013 called Cheapo Space Program. This is a variation on that same theme. Cosmonauts... err, convict cosmonauts... are on the Mun and their home countries don't have the means to bring them back quite yet. They can keep sending them supplies, but sending them home is just beyond the limits of their booster technology.
In this episode the Murica 4 gets refueled by the Murica Oil Freedom unmanned refueling spaceplane, and the Murica 1 makes its perilous descent back to Kerbin. As it happens, we know that the Murica 1 has a critical flaw in its landing gear which will probably cause the landing gear to collapse underneath it. This I know because I built a refueler based on the Murica 1 and the landing gear pigeon-toed on the tarmac. This caused the rapid disassembly of the space vehicle. Hopefully the Murica 1 will not share the same fate...
