Some of you may remember a series I did back in 2013 called Cheapo Space Program. This is a variation on that same theme. Cosmonauts... err, convict cosmonauts... are on the Mun and their home countries don't have the means to bring them back quite yet. They can keep sending them supplies, but sending them home is just beyond the limits of their booster technology.
In this episode Jebediah Kerman, who is sick and tired of being passed over for Mun missions, finally loses it. He goes off the reservation, he flies off the handle, he loses his buttons, he varks his aardvark. He is saying that he is going to go to the Mun... in a homemade spacecraft barely larger than a Minivan...
Will someone intervene and lock Jebediah away forever? Or, far more likely, will they line up to watch his inevitable death?
