Inspired by Parker Solar Probe (PSP), I decided to launch a probe to flyby the Sun. But because I'm to stupid and to lazy to plan multiple gravity assists, I used fully expandable Falcon Heavy, rocket over 2 times more powerful than Delta IV Heavy, which launched PSP , and even with additional, hydrolox powered upper stage I was just able to reach 18.77Gm periapsis, 3 times higher, than PSP will have after its final gravity assists. Entire stack, at launch had approximately 23km/s of delta-v, which in theory is enough to send equivalent mass to Mars and back to Earth. The highest velocity achieved at Sun's periapsis was almost 110km/s - enough to fly from New York to London in less than a minute. PSP will reach over 120km/s, making it the fastest object humanity ever made (excluding particles in Large Hadron Collider).
