In this session I tackle the Lakebed Temple. I didn't want for this session to amount to "I did the Lakebed Temple," but despite the extra time I put in, it really did turn out that way. I consider it a win regardless, since I managed to clean the temple out by making use of Oocoo, something I should have thought of before. I bumped my wallet up a tier by talking to Agatha, whom I'd forgotten upgrades your wallet. This happened after I went through the trouble of looking for a spot to spend some money to free up space, which is the slightest of bummers considering the amount of land I covered to make it happen. It was all in an effort to not have to reenter the temple from the front on a second visit, but it would probably have taken much less time to have simply saved the temple for whenever I unlocked warping. And unlock warping I did: the shrine got done, and I nabbed a few poes inbetween times, while also clearing out some coves. I imagine that sessions later on will be dedicated to clearing coves and combing the land for poes and bugs and heart pieces and ruppee chests. It's all in the point of this playthrough: game familiarity establishment. The longer I spend navigating the lands, the more familiar I'll be with this or that in a race, so most anything isn't time wasted.
I've been busy with work, as I finally have a job again. The transition from being an unemployed bum to working hard as a backline fast food worker is kinda rough, and I feel like conking out pretty soon after getting home most days. That combined with my cool quality of not using any stretch of 3 hours before I need to do a scheduled thing, means I don't allow myself to play sessions like this as often as I'd like.
TotK is out, and I've been avoiding YouTube barring my music playlist, and I've been keeping off of social media. I don't want no spoilers. I have every intention of playing the heck out of it once I can get my hands on it, probably as soon as a few days from now, or as late as a couple of weeks from now. Until then, Twilight Princess shall be my poor-man's TotK.
