I don't know how the castle is supposed to be solved, but I certainly spent more than a little time on trying to figure it out and on grabbing lots and lots of coins. I almost wasted my last P-Wing before I spent several lives investigating and looking for hidden blocks. I spent about an hour on World 7, and I didn't feel like continuing, so I decided to save World 8 for the next session: the finale.
It's bothering me, so I do plan on looking at how this castle is intended to be beaten later. If it's just that you need to use a Tanuki Suit on it, then that's a poor solution, though I can't seem to think of what else it could be. It's just that the only powerup in the castle I've been able to find is a Fire Flower, and there's a big long room with no real indication that there's a pipe way high above it.
