It is a sad day indeed! Maxan feels that the marriage with Emily is just not the best arrangement for both parties involved. We go to Mayor Lewis and pay him a small sum of money for a divorce! We also celebrate Jas's birthday at Marnie's ranch. Afterwards, we go to the Skull Cavern for Qi's Hungry Challenge!

After harvesting from the indoor garden, we take off Emily's clothes and store them in our dresser! We watch the television and check the calendar. It is a very good luck day, and it is also Jas's birthday! We don our normal outfit before leaving the house.

At the furnace area, we collect our gold bars and our crab pot products! From the chests of flowers, we pick out a nice fairy rose for Jas! Next, we ride our horse over to the mushroom cave and the greenhouse. The ancient fruit are ready to be harvested!

After gathering all of the valuable light blue pods, we head to the big shed to collect some jade gemstones. Then, we take our horse down to the fish ponds for some roe and squid ink! In the animal pen, we walk around and pet all of the cows, chickens, pigs and others!

We head over to Marnie's ranch which is just a short distance away to give Jas her birthday gift. We also visit Leah in her hut to speak with her for a small bonus in friendship points! Then, we head into town where we check the trash cans!

Seems like Kent is heading to Ginger Island with his family. We speak to them on the bridge and collect a sweet pea flower! Then, we go into the mayor's house to sign our divorce papers. It is a little upsetting but we remind ourselves that it is for the best!

At the bus stop, we speak to Pam before returning to the farm. Here, we collect some jars of wild honey from the bee houses! As a parting gift, we give Emily a beautiful prismatic shard! In the farmhouse, we also pick up our mining gear before going to the Calico Desert by warp obelisk.

We pan for some gold ore at the desert lake! We eat a plate of spicy eel and drink some triple shot espresso to wash it down before entering the Skull Cavern. Immediately, we start placing down staircases to get deeper in the mines!

On level 10, we get our first treasure chest! It contains 15 cherry bombs, which we place on our hotbar. Since inventory space is quite limited in the Skull Cavern, we try our best to use up these bombs on the floors that follow.

Reaching floor 22, we are assaulted by multiple serpents and lose quite a bit of health! We should be more careful! Anyway, we try to look for the big slimes with hearts to restore our health. For some reason, such a slime on floor 30 does not drop any hearts for us.

Our health is starting to look a little low thanks to several encounters with more serpents. After falling down a shaft on floor 32, we are at critical health! Fortunately, on the subsequent floors, we rarely see serpents flying at us!

We manage to get some health from a big slime on floor 48. On floor 51, we find another chest guarded by a big slime! On floor 54, we receive our first prismatic shard after blowing up a rock of iridium ore! We have used up all of our cherry bombs so we switch to the black ones.

A serpent flies towards us at alarming speed on floor 62! We smack it with the infinity gavel and slay it before it touches us! There are also many big slimes here with objects inside of them! We get some free hearts and pink cakes.

Aside from the serpent, that was quite a good floor as it gave us a shaft and a prismatic shard! Deeper in the mines, we find an infested floor on level 69 which we quickly place down a staircase to skip, followed by another treasure room on floor 70.

Somehow, we manage to survive until floor 76 where we find another shaft! Maybe we should stop taking shortcuts as they are costing us quite a bit of health. As the buffs from the spicy eel and the espresso have expired, we start placing down staircases at a greater rate!

On floor 94, we use up all of our normal bombs and switch back to mega bombs! It is just a short way to go before we reach our goal. Some challenges await us, however! On floor 96, we narrowly escape the wrath of a serpent, and same for floor 98 which was infested!

Finally, we reach floor 100 alive! We quickly take a bite of spicy eel, a mug of triple shot espresso and a salad. Now, it's time to bomb the floors of Skull Cavern for iridium ore! On floor 103, many serpents fly at us, but this time we are able to regain health with food!

On floor 111, we find some sprinklers in a treasure chest! We pass out on floor 123, and we have collected a good amount of all the ores. We may not have much use for iridium now, but we can always sell the bars for profit!
