Lego City Update Vlog! Pt.2 (Today, We Pick Up Where We Left Off Last Saturday!)
In todays video we continue the next leap forward for the Lego City of “Why Not” that we started last week. In todays part 2, we focus on just cleaning up and finishing up some detail so I can make content again in the studio. To do this we made several 32x32 stud road plates using the Lego City kits. Once this was done we added a lot of detail around the city. I added a lot of flowers and tiny trees to the forest area. I also added stop signs and lights all over the city. I also put things back where they belong. I did introduce the Lego City Recycling Truck set #60386 and the Creator 3in1 Beach Camper Van set #31138 to the city. The van did not fit correctly, but we will use the accessories it came with on the beach. But the Recycle Truck fit perfect. We finish this video off with full tour of work done and everything clean. I also do state again that if we get the channel up to two hundred subscribers by June1st, that I will buy a used Brick Bank set for the city. But now that bet has gone up to getting the Fire Brigade as well. If you like videos like this please Like, Share, and Subscribe!
RECAP: I did decide to go ahead and purchase another Ikea Linnmon table with the Adils legs. This now puts me at 4 tables wide for the city. This expansion take me from 7 x 4 32x32 baseplates to 9.5 x 4 32x32 baseplates. I am hoping this change will better incorporate the corner building I have such as the Corner Garage, Downtown Diner, Sanctum Sanctorum, and the Boutique Hotel. Also another hope I have is to widen the roads to look more functional. I quickly get the table built and then start shuffling buildings. As I do this and set them, I have to update there MILS plate brick boarder color so it blends well with the road as well as match around the outside. I get the buildings moved and then start play my roads. For the roads I am using the Lego City Road Plate kit. I managed to put around 5 hours In this today, but sadly it got hot quick, and I felt I needed to take some time to process my next steps. Everything went well besides that, and we are left needing to make the special plates for the road and sidewalk area. Unfortunately, we did run out of time and I know long videos aren’t well received so we had to hang it top for another day. I give a tour on were we are at and what it for next Fridays Vlog video..
