In todays video we are building the Lego Ideas Old Fishing Store set #21310 with 2,049 pieces. This set was released in September 2017 for $150 US. It retired in December 2018 after only 15 months. It is currently only available on the second market and prices range between $300 and $500 US. We did get ours open box but sealed bag for a little less. In the unboxing We discover seven bags with multiple side bags. I knocked out the build easily in only 2 days while managing other projects. This set has a lot of details. Starting on the exterior, it is a nice sand green color with a lot of the pieces being made to be intentionally crooked. The outer decking is nice with multiple shades of brown and print wood pieces. We luckily where able to place the set on a MILS plate with the right about of water to go under the dock. Inside of the store we see a lot of fishing and diving gear as well as boat gear. You see a lot of tools, fishing supplies, fishing poles, and so much more. There is what I believe to be a watchtower of some sort. A telescope rests on the high place of this area. On the lower level of this area this is some sort of office space. There are lots of open crates of stuff, these crates are mode to be stored inside the store but I placed them around the set. On the dock steps there are fish and lobster on ice. In the back there is lots of tools and supplies. I naturally love the set, but find it difficult to recommend because of price. It is a “if you have it, go for it” situation. Only issue I found with the set is because from sitting with age, a few of the plates did crack or break. But these was concealable with the provided tiling. If you like videos like this please Like, Share, and Subscribe!
