In todays video we build the Lego Creator Expert Downtown Diner set #10260 with 2,480 pieces. This set was released in January 2018 for $170. It retired December 2020, So it had a good run of two years. It is currently for sale on the second market and prices range around $400 new in box. We did get ours seal, new in box. In the unboxing We discover five bags with multiple side bags. I knocked out the build easily in only 2 days while managing other projects. This set has a lot of details. Starting on the Lower level we have the diner. The diner has excellent detail, and really takes you back to the 50s. The curved front glass window and the upward front window are super classic and nice. On the second level, we have a gym. The biggest notes here are the boxer mining with gloves, a functional punching bag, and the boxing ring. These are super excellent details that admire with this set. Going up to the third level, we have a recording studio. This area is just amazing, it has a sound padded room, an engineer board, and more. They did an excellent job at designing this level. The completed look is like something never seen before on modular buildings. The outdoor stairs going through the eve of the building is super cool. Finally we do get a car with this set, this car resembles something of a 59-ish Cadillac. Like with yesterdays video, I do find it difficult to recommend this set because of the second market price.
