Lego Ultimate Collectors Series Millennium Falcon! (The Journey, Build, & Review Of This UCS Set!)
In todays video we build and review the Lego Ultimate Collectors Series (UCS) Millennium Falcon set #75192, with 7,541 pieces. I begin this video with a moment to moment capture of getting the money for this set and ordering it. To receiving the set and beginning the unboxing. In the unboxing we find a massive metal ringed instruction book. This book was chocked full of details about the original model and the Lego models throughout the years. The book also contains some of the best detailed instructions ever. Going beyond the book we find four boxes inside the main box, unfortunately the bags are not sorted like they would be for the titanic. So after a short sorting process on my floor I officially discover 17 bags that had a lot of sister bags. It was at this moment I realized that I will be taking over two weeks for this build, doing one bag step a day. I did manage to finish the build in 16 days, taking a total of 20 to 34 hours to Complete. In the review we find a lot of great detail on the bottom of the ship, as well as a functional entry door. Going up to the side we see a lot of unique part usage making up the infamous greebling the Falcon is none for. On the topside you find a lot more of this greebling on several plates. Some plates are removable to access the are for the icon game scene from a new hope as well as a control room for the ship. Unfortunately, the cockpit is not easily accessible. The overall build was like a sandwich, there is a core middle structure, with plates on either side. The ease of how these plates are secured make this very scary to move around. I did manage to break it once during the build process. I was lucky to find a space in the studio to put this. The only issues I have is the open area in the front and the fragile nature. For the minifigs included you do get Rey, Porgs, Finn, Old Han Solo, Young Han Solo, Chebacca, Leia, BB-8, and C-3PO. You also get this weird bat thing and the choice of two antenna. One being from the original trilogy or the other from he sequel trilogy. I went with the original. I do recommend this build if you can easy swing it.
