Lenovo IdeaPad Y410p - Crysis 2 Performance Test (Ultra, DX11, High-Res)
This is Crysis 2 as it should be, and one of the first titles to introduce tessellation. As such, the implementation wasn't perfect (e.g. tessellated waters being rendered even when they're obscured from view), occasionally causing unnecessary performance drops. This detail rose questions, especially in the ATI/AMD community, suggesting that Nvidia conspired with Crytek to increase the sale of their new GPUs at the time.
Crysis 2 didn't launch with DX11 support or high-res textures, but these were made available for free a few months later with the requirement of installing the v1.9 patch first. Along with these add-ons, vague graphics profiles (Gamer, Advanced, and Hardcore) were replaced with ones that were easier to identify (High, Very High, Extreme, and Ultra).
