Lenovo IdeaPad Y410p - Tomb Raider Performance Test (Ultimate/Ultra Presets)
Here's another game for the AMD folks out there. As such, it's expected to perform a bit sluggish with Nvidia cards, especially the weaker ones. The GT 750M is somewhat a fit for this demonstration. Tomb Raider features a unique physics effect tailored for AMD cards, called TressFX. I suppose it's like Nvidia's proprietary PhysX technology, but exclusively for hair. It makes Lara's hair more life-like, as opposed to the Normal setting showing "clay hair". StressFX, er, TressFX does a huge performance hit, and it only becomes worse as more of Lara's hair is seen onscreen, albeit, up-close. It also has an Ultimate preset, and the only difference between that and Ultra is TressFX hair.
