Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we continue working on the profile page. We start out inside of the profile slice setting up a new async thunk to fetch the users following and follower information. Once we have the follower and following information from the backend we more our attention to the ProfileFollowSection where we clean it out and refactor it. We add in more round button that are displayed depending on if you are a follower or not, and setup a way to navigate to the explore page when someone clicks on the search icon on your profile. Finally we move into the Profile page to setup with new component with all of the props it needs and make sure it looks good to go.
