Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we work on getting the users likes and other posts loaded into the frontend. To do this we start out in the backend setting up a new repository method to get the users liked posts from the database. Then we setup a new method in the service and controller to return those liked posts to the frontend. We also made sure that when we fetch the users posts for the profile they are properly sorted from new to old. Then we hopped back in the frontend to setup the http requests in the ProfileSlice. Once these calls and reducers were setup, we tested it out and had to do some debugging to get everything working properly.
