This is a blind playthrough. Kindly avoid posting spoilers in the comments or solutions to puzzles either in this video or future ones so as not to spoil the experience for me or those that haven’t seen the game before.

Today I am going to take the opportunity to use this video description to explain a number of important things about how I record videos. Unlike what some people believe, I record the commentary and gameplay simultaneously and my commentary is unscripted. That I’m able to provide the commentary I do is from the many years of experience I have in doing so and even then, it is far from easy. Commentating on live gameplay requires a lot of concentration which can results in some things being missed. You are watching the finished video and thus can devote all your attention to it, allowing you to see things that I may not have due to recording a video.

More importantly, remember that I am just an ordinary person playing a puzzle game for the very first time with no forward knowledge of what’s to come. It’s very easy to say that the solution to a puzzle is obvious when you’re already played it through to completion. It’s also very easy to criticise people for not figuring out something that is ‘easy’; puzzles games, by their very nature, are about exploration, problem solving and experimentation. Those ‘eureka’ moments when everything slots into place and you solve a conundrum that’s been vexing you are fantastic and the reason why I play puzzle games. I won’t be blazing through the game like other people do and that’s okay because I never stated that I was going to. I’m just me working my way through a game at my own pace and having fun while doing so.

If you started watching this blind let’s play expecting perfection, then you need to reassess how you judge success. Nobody is perfect by any stretch of the imagination and complaining that you are watching someone make mistakes and get stumped on problems is you complaining that they’re being human. If you want a flawless no-glitch speedrun, I suggest you go look for that but if you want to see me have fun figuring out how this wonderful world the game presents works, then you’re in the right place.
